This page explains what the EduSpace website stores in your browser, who sets it, and how you can control it. It expands on section 8 of the Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data in general.
"Cookies" here means small files a website stores in your browser, and similar technology such as local storage and scripts that read information from your device.
Categories
- Strictly necessary — keep you signed in and make the site work. The site cannot work without them.
- Preferences — remember choices you made, such as language and theme.
- Security and anti-bot — protect sign-in and payments from bots and fraud.
- Analytics — help us understand how the site is used so we can fix and improve it. They are not needed for the site to work.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.

Sign in with Google or Apple. If you choose one of these buttons, Google or Apple loads its own sign-in window and may set cookies on its own domain under its own policies. We do not control those cookies.
Analytics
We use Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics to see which pages people visit, how they move through the site, and where something breaks. Yandex Metrica includes Webvisor, a session replay feature that records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement on a page so we can see where people get stuck.
These tools give us statistics, not a profile for advertising. Yandex and Google receive your IP address and information about your device and browser, and may process it outside the UAE — Yandex in the Russian Federation and other countries, Google in the United States and other countries. Their own privacy policies describe how they handle it.
Consent and your choices
Strictly necessary, preference and security cookies are used because the site needs them or because you set the preference yourself; they do not require your consent. If you block them, you can still read public pages, but you will not be able to sign in.
Analytics cookies are used on the basis described in section 3 of the Privacy Policy — with your consent where the law requires it. You can refuse or withdraw at any time, and the site keeps working:
- block or delete cookies for edu-space.io, and third-party cookies, in your browser settings;
- turn on your browser's tracking protection or use a content blocker, which stops these scripts from loading;
- install Google's opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout;
- use Yandex's opt-out instructions: yandex.com/support/metrica/general/opt-out.html.

The mobile app
The EduSpace app for iOS and Android uses no tracking cookies and contains no analytics SDK. It keeps the session in your device's system cookie store and keychain, and a few preferences in the app's own storage. None of it leaves your device except the session itself, which goes to our servers to prove that you are signed in.
Changes
We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows the current version. If a translation differs from this English version, the English version prevails.
